Overview of Threed32.ocx

What Is Threed32.ocx?

Threed32.ocx is a type of OCX file associated with Microsoft Visual Basic developed by Cadence Design Systems for the Windows Operating System. The latest known version of Threed32.ocx is 1.0.0041, which was produced for Windows. This OCX file carries a popularity rating of 2 stars and a security rating of 'UNKNOWN'.

What Are OCX Files?

OCX files, such as Threed32.ocx, are COM (Component Object Model) interface technologies often referred to as an ActiveX control. ActiveX controls are tiny programs, sometimes called 'add-ons', that are used on websites and in software applications.

ActiveX controls are often encountered when using a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome. If you open a web page embedded with a video in the Window Media (.WMV) file format, your web browser uses a built-in ActiveX control that allows you to view the video directly on the web page, rather than having to load that file separately in Windows Media Player.

Why Do I Have OCX Errors?

OCX / ActiveX / Threed32.ocx errors generally occur because your web browser or program (eg. Microsoft Visual Basic) attempts to load a corrupt or missing ActiveX control. Also, these problems may occur if some ActiveX-related subkeys are missing from the Windows registry.

When Do OCX Errors Occur?

OCX errors, such as those associated with Threed32.ocx, most often occur during computer startup, program startup, or while trying to use a specific function in your program (eg. printing).

  • 'Threed32.ocx failed to register. The specified module could not be found.'
  • 'Threed32.ocx not found.'
  • 'Cannot find Threed32.ocx.'

  • 'Runtime Error 339: Threed32.ocx not correctly registered.'
  • 'Missing or broken reference to the file Threed32.ocx.'
  • 'The Module 'Threed32.ocx' Failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. The specified module could not be found.'
  • 'One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either: 1) Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page, or 2) You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls. As a result, the page may not display correctly.'
  • 'This program requires Threed32.ocx, which is no longer included.'

These OCX error messages can appear during program installation, while a Threed32.ocx-related software program (eg. Microsoft Visual Basic) is running, during Windows startup or shutdown, or even during the installation of the Windows operating system. Keeping track of when and where your Threed32.ocx error occurs is a critical piece of information in troubleshooting the problem.

VB5 and Sheridan Index Tab (Tabctl32.ocx)

I just begin to transfert my VB3 project to VB5.
I discover that the Tab Index control (active x) doesn't work
properly; when I work on the form some controls
on the tab index become unvisible and after they come back
; it looks like a bug ...
Have you the same problem ???
Do you know a patch ???

HELP ME !!!

Thanks a lot.

I've found the same problem working with VB4 after having installed
VB5 on the same machine. The tab control makes the spin buttons
placed on it look inverted, unless they are place on another control
(such as a frame).

Don't know what the fix is, unless Microsoft comes out with a
replacement control. Meanwhile, for me I guess the workaround is to
stick in a frame to hold the spin control. Maybe something like that
would work for you.

Good luck,
